:: The wilderness quality of this classic desert river trip may soon change with the encroachment of the gas drilling rigs. Join us for an eight day journey down the section of the Green river from the remote put in at Sand Island "somewhere" south of Vernal Utah to Swasey's take out near Green River Utah.
We want to thank Tobias Schunck, Jennifer and Bill Stucklen for letting use their photographs to help illustrate this journal.
:: The Dolores has not been raftable for the last several years. Thanks to the abundant snowpack in the San Juan's accumulated during the winter of 2004/2005 the river ran for a few months in the Spring of 2005. Join us on a six day journey down a 100 mile stretch from Slickrock across the paradox valley to the small town of Gateway. This section offers deep slickrock canyons, petroglyphs, lot's of class II, III whitewater and the infamous Flume.
:: Lodore Canyon on the Green river is one of the best trips around. Spectacular scenery, and lots of history. It can be done in three days but due to the low water in August we decided to take 5 days so we could take our time and enjoy a layover day at Jones hole.
